STAUF PUK-455 Wide Plank is a urethane-based, high-strength adhesive designed for professional installation of wide-width solid wood flooring. It delivers extremely high shear strength to help control cupping commonly associated with wide plank installations.
PUK-455 spreads easily and features a non-slump formula that allows adhesive ridges to bridge minor gaps between the flooring and subfloor. Because it contains no water or solvent, it will not cause dimensional changes to wood flooring during installation. The adhesive provides strong green grab for fast installation, even with complex patterns. No flash time is required, and rolling is neither required nor recommended. Once cured, PUK-455 offers superior flexibility to hold flooring securely while allowing for normal seasonal movement.
