Premium Multipurpose Flooring Adhesive
STAUF MPP-825 Premium Multipurpose is a zero-VOC, non-staining, latex-based adhesive formulated for demanding direct glue-down carpet installations and other floor coverings. It is specifically designed for stiff or “boardy” carpets that tend to curl or spring back after installation, providing extended tack time and excellent re-bonding capability.
MPP-825 is moisture-resistant, non-flammable, low-odor, and light-colored, making it installer-friendly and suitable for challenging job-site conditions. It is protected by CleanGuard® antimicrobial technology to help resist mold and mildew in both wet and dry states.
The adhesive is recommended for use with a wide range of carpet backings, including woven polypropylene (ActionBac® and hot melt), latex unitary, urethane foam-backed carpets (Enhancer® I–IV and Durafoam), rubber backs, woven, needlepunch, jute, and approved double glue-down systems. Due to its non-staining formulation, MPP-825 may also be used to install felt-backed sheet vinyl. It is not recommended for pure vinyl-backed sheet goods or vinyl-backed carpets.
