Installation

With the interactive laying recommendations, STAUF provides you with the possibility of drawing up and printing out detailed recommendations on substrate preparation, the correct choice of adhesive, the application and spread rate for your individual installation situation.

After selecting the substrate (e.g. type of screed), floor covering (e.g. type of wood flooring) and your desired requirements for the installation (e.g. solvent-free) our database generates in seconds - in accordance with your specifications - precise installation recommendations and configurations and also calculates the approximate material needed, provided the square footage to be covered has been given.

When adhesives are applied to the substrate, various notched trowels are used. They are distinguished by:
► the quantity of adhesive being applied
► the depth and intervals of the gaps between the teeth. Both factors together are responsible for a reliable and lasting adhesive bond. The adhesive recommendations from STAUF include the use of the notched trowels developed and recommended by us. In the table below you will find the designations and intended use of the different notched trowels.
